Some things are priceless

I love the quote "the best things in life are free." This weekend I experienced how kindness and love between siblings makes that statement so true (for parents at least). We had a family party to celebrate Karissa turning four yesterday. Kaela got out her jewelry kit...I thought to make herself something. But, she was actually making this for Karissa:

It made my day. The best things really are free.

How sweet. It makes you feel so good when they do it on their own too. I'm sure Karissa loved her bracelet! She's already 4 wow!

That is the cutest thing I have ever seen. I love that she explains what BFF stands for because at age 4 you might not full understand or appreciate the importance or the magnitude of that abbreviation. I also love that at the end she was so selfless to sign the note: The kids. How sweet of her to use her beads and to give everyone the credit. I love that she refers to her and her siblings as "the kids". So cute. By the way, I just got home from work and I got your message and can't stop laughing. I didn't even notice he had anything on him. I just changed him out of his church clothes and put them in the laundry, no big deal. Apparently you told you that Logan was nicknamed "Bulldozer" by the last nursery teacher. Watch out!

Oh how sweet. I love it when my kids actually act like they like each other. I never did understand why my parents hated it when we fought and loved it when we were kind. It is not that fighting is soooo annoying, but it makes me feel so awful to think they might not like or love each other. I love the sweet things they do for each other and try to hold on to them to so I can make it though the sibling rivarly stuff that comes up too.

That is so cute! I love those moments as a mom, even if they far and few between but when you think-ok maybe we are doing something right. I love it! Your baby is so darling by the way.

These are the "payoffs" that make all the "tradeoffs" of being a Mom all worth it! Enjoy... Sometimes they seem too few and far between, so savor them when they come!
