Band Aid Bliss

Karissa is in the band aid loving stage. She is almost happy to get hurt so she can put a band aid on! The house went very quiet yesterday and I knew she had to be up to something...look what I found!

Might I add she did a fabulous job on those! Now, if only she is like Kaela and is instantly healed as soon as a band aid touches her skin. That was worth having to buy a box of band aids a week, for sure!

That is impressive! Everytime I buy a box of band-aids they seem to be gone the next day...even when there is not blood band-aids heal! They are amazing!

Just in case you didn't see the response I left on my blog, I'll put it on yours too. For my photos, I download scrapbook paper online then I arrange everything how I want it in photoshop. Then I save the whole thing as a jpeg and download it to blogger.

My dad just told me about the band-aids. I really really liked band-aids too when I was little. I also used to like hats and bracelets when I was little.

Love, Bridger

This is awesome! I'm so glad to hear there are other kids out there like mine! Dave and I have finally decided to let our kids know - no blood, no bandaids! :) I also have an un-marked bandaid container so they're a little harder to find :) I guess you've gotta do what you've gotta do. Looking at the bright side, at least all those bandaids weren't needed - what a mess it would have been if she did need them all! What a doll!

At least now when she's hurt, YOU don't have to be the one to make it better. She can do it all by herself. Nice.

Really enjoy your blog. Every paper cut in my house REQUIRES a band aid. I dont know what it is with kids and their love for band aids

Oh, now that is cute! Why is it that kids love bandaides. For Christmas, Santa always leaves several boxes of bandaides in stockings at my house. And my kids are thrilled. Camden truly believes they are body art.

You are so much nicer about the band-aids than me! In our home, the rule is - No Blood, No Band-aid! hehe.

My favorite band-aid/Karissa moment was last year when she found a box of Superman band-aids I had in my purse. (I don't remember why I was carrying them around in my purse.) It was a Sunday afternoon and we were at Mom and Papi's. I went downstairs and there was Karissa with the entire box of band-aids adhered to one of her feet. Love you Ris!

Oh, I LOVE the band-aid phase! My little Trevan is in it, as we speak. The nice thing is that it is almost a magical, miraculous, instantaneous healing! :)
